Here is a cool article from BuzzBuzz Homes:

Concord Pacific wants to take the empty parking lots around BC Place and Rogers Arena and convert them into a vibrant new neighbourhoood known as False Creek Central.

The developer’s vision includes eight residential buildings, a 30,000-square-foot public fitness facility, new cycling and pedestrian connections from downtown to the seawall and South Cambie, and new retail and commercial space. A total of $1.3 billion will be invested in the area — a sum that includes Paragon’s proposal for a $535-million casino, hotel and entertainment complex next to BC Place.

While not all eight buildings in False Creek Central have been fully approved by the city, the first building, One Pacific, has not only been approved, but it will be celebrating its grand opening this Saturday, October 5th.

It all goes down at Concord’s presentation centre at 88 Pacific Boulevard (Pacific at Carrall) beginning at 10am.

This new home release is your first chance to get in on the exciting new neighbourhood that is just one block from Vancouver’s famous seawall, Coopers’ Park, Yaletown, the marina, the downtown stadiums and everything else the city has to offer.
